Shipping, Delivery & Pickup Policy

At Solid Wood Craft Furniture, we take pride in delivering quality, handcrafted solid wood furniture. To ensure a smooth experience from production to delivery, please review the following information.

1. Production & Lead Times

Each piece is individually handcrafted to order, with an estimated production period of 10–12 weeks.

During winter months, production and delivery timelines may extend to 12–14 weeks due to severe weather, road closures, or transportation disruptions.

We appreciate your understanding as we work to deliver your furniture with the care and attention it deserves.

2. Delivery Areas & Fees

We offer furniture delivery throughout Ontario, Canada.

Within 160 km of our Mississauga dispatch location: Delivery fees are calculated at checkout.
Beyond 160 km: Please contact us at (289) 804-4664 for a personalized delivery quote before placing your order.

Our delivery service includes transportation by a two-person team, using one delivery vehicle per shipment.

3. In-Home Delivery & Assembly

Our delivery and setup service is available for an additional fee, which includes bringing your furniture into your preferred room and assembling it where required.

For particularly heavy or oversized pieces, additional assistance or special arrangements may be necessary. Our team will communicate any such requirements in advance.

For safety reasons, our delivery team does not move or rearrange existing furniture, mattresses, or box springs.

4. Property Access & Furniture Measurements

Customers are responsible for ensuring their furniture will fit through all necessary entryways, including doors, hallways, staircases, and elevators.

All access routes must be clear, safe, and free from obstacles, including snow and ice.

If an item cannot be moved into the intended room due to space limitations, our team may place it in another suitable, accessible location on the property, such as a garage or main-floor room.

Our delivery personnel cannot remove or modify doors, railings, walls, or other structural features to accommodate furniture.

5. Delivery Scheduling

Once your order is ready, our team will contact you to coordinate a convenient delivery appointment.

Deliveries are generally scheduled Monday through Friday, with morning, afternoon, and evening appointments available, subject to availability.

While we make every effort to accommodate preferred schedules, exact delivery dates and arrival times cannot be guaranteed due to traffic, weather, and other logistical circumstances.

6. Customer Pickup

Pickup is available by appointment only.

We will notify you when your order is ready for collection, typically within 10–12 weeks of purchase.

Customers arranging pickup are responsible for providing suitable transportation, protective moving blankets, and securing straps to ensure their furniture is safely transported.
